Welcome to Cotgrave Community Garden!
We are an off-grid food garden in the heart of the East Midlands, creating a space for community growth and nourishment. The garden is a place to relax and learn, connect with others, and feed your soul. We believe in building strong communities through shared food, skills, and mutual support.
By growing food in harmony with nature, planting trees, and improving soil health, we tackle climate change and food security issues while empowering our community to live sustainably and support biodiversity.
At Cotgrave Community Garden we believe in more than just access to good food—we’re committed to food justice. Our mission is to reclaim local food systems, foster resilience, and empower communities.
As a small charity, we deliver food sustainability and outdoor education programs for young people, while also hosting events, workshops, and community dinners.
Using permaculture methods, we grow food to share with the community, increase biodiversity, and create spaces where people come together to learn, connect, and thrive.
Volunteering With Us
Everything we’ve achieved at Cotgrave Community Garden is thanks to the passion and dedication of local volunteers. From growing food and conserving wildlife, to organising events and fundraising, volunteers are at the heart of what we do.
